To help launch Soundpaint, a one-of-a-kind multiverse of instruments with a platform poised to transform the sound and music landscape, we created a cinematic world that brought Soundpaint’s diverse audio library to life with equally innovative animations. Beginning with abstract concepts that were representational of the sounds themselves, including the movement of the actual wave forms, the visuals also took inspiration from the physical instruments.

Ntrōpic’s team constantly added deeper levels of hand-painted detail, with each visualization representing a different category of audio sample offered by Soundpaint. All in, we created 21 visuals for categories ranging from classic sounds like brass, drums, piano, guitar and keyboards, to more artificial effects, synths and “hybrid cinema” sounds.
